The 19SPEEDMASTER LD is a new addition to Shimano's series of conventional lever reels.

The Speedmaster LDII is a very versatile reel.

Due to its compact size, it can be used for many rod types and fishing techniques such as trolling, stand-up fishing, bottom fishing and even casting.

The 2-SPEED gearbox is very useful: if the bait needs to be found quickly, the angler can use the gear ratio of 5.7: 1, which reels in 107 cm per turn of the handle.
When a large fish is hooked and the angler needs a powerful retrieve to bring the fish in, the 3.1:1 gear ratio can be used.
