It can rightly be considered the standard vertical jigging hook due to the thinner wire and the wide curve and short shank that make it adaptable to all the prey of the VJ in the Mediterranean. This too has a welded and bent 6° eyelet with a good diameter to allow the assist leader's lanyard to pass through. The tip is decidedly longer and sharper to ensure rapid penetration and the barb is also 20% smaller than the "micro barb" type to allow easy insertion and a good seal. Very light, in titanium alloy and gold finish, it is available from 36 lbs up to 250 lbs.
