AQS HARPOON REGAL ACID ROD 2.00 MT 200 GR

AQS proudly presents the second and brand new series of HARPOON rods, splendid and revolutionary rods with full carbon tip for Slow Pitch, Inchiku and all vertical techniques.

As in the previous version, the Solid Carbon tip of the new HARPOON REGAL makes these rods practically indestructible and able to bend up to unthinkable curves under stress.

In addition to the change of look, which has made these gems even more appealing from an aesthetic point of view, the new HARPOON REGAL are fitted with magnificent and very resistant AMERICAN TACKLE TI-FORGED rings in AISI 316 steel and stone in DuraLite, which have already been used with great success in the AQS White Shark and Black Shark trolling rods.

In addition, the blank of the new HARPOON REGAL has been slightly elongated, with great benefit for the action of the rod, which is now even more fun when engaged in combat, parabolic and at the same time very sensitive and reactive when handling the lure and in the bite phase, ready to support and respond to the maneuvers of the jig in depth, which translates into natural and enticing movements of the bait, both in the jerk phase and when the tip straightens.

As if that were not enough, the reel seat and lower handle have been modified and improved, ergonomic and therefore more comfortable to hold.

The tip coupling is offset, ie on the handle and immediately above the reel seat; therefore, it is not a weak point, as it does not affect the action of the tip, on the contrary it makes the rod more manageable in transport.

Following the extraordinary results of the previous version of the HARPOON rods in extreme combat with large game, the new HARPOON REGAL maintains the same astounding potential with some improvements that anglers will discover for themselves.

The “ACID” versions, ie with spiral mounting, are specific for use with rotating reels. This particular assembly allows you to enhance the action of the barrel up to extreme curves without the line ever touching the blank.

The “REGULAR” versions, on the other hand, are intended for use with fixed spool reels, and have rings in sizes suitable for use with this type of reel.

Ultimately, the HARPOON are formidable tools with a decidedly interesting price, which offer a lot of quality, sensitivity and power, fundamental requirements for fishing at Slow Pitch or Inchiku, where "feeling" the contact with the bottom really makes the difference.
