AQS proudly presents the second and brand new series of HARPOON rods, splendid and revolutionary rods with Solid tip for Slow Pitch, Inchiku and all vertical techniques.

As in the previous version, the Solid tip of the new HARPOON REGAL makes these rods extremely resistant and able to bend to unthinkable curves under stress.

In addition to the change in look, which has made these little gems even more appealing from an aesthetic point of view, the new HARPOON REGAL are equipped with magnificent and very resistant AMERICAN TACKLE TI-FORGED rings in AISI 316 steel and DuraLite stone, which have already been used with great success in the AQS White Shark and Black Shark trolling rods.

Furthermore, the blank of the new HARPOON REGAL has been slightly lengthened, with great benefit for the action of the rod, which is now even more fun when engaged in combat, parabolic and at the same time very sensitive and reactive when managing the lure and in the bite phase, ready to accommodate and respond to the jig's maneuvers in depth, which translates into natural and enticing movements of the bait, both in the jerking phase and when the tip straightens.

As if that wasn't enough, the reel seat and lower handle have been modified and improved, making them ergonomic and therefore more comfortable to hold.

The tip connection is offset, i.e. on the handle and immediately above the reel seat; therefore, it does not constitute a weak point, as it does not affect the action, on the contrary it makes the rod more manageable during transport.

Following the extraordinary results of the previous version of the HARPOON rods in extreme fights with large fish, the new HARPOON REGAL maintains the same astonishing potential with some improvements that anglers will discover for themselves.

The new HARPOON REGAL rods are 2.00MT long and boast the magnificent AMERICAN TACKLE guides. They are available in the following versions, each of which is distinguished by colour:

The “ACID” versions, i.e. with spiral assembly, are specific for use with rotating reels. This particular assembly allows you to enhance the action of the rod blank up to extreme bends without the line ever touching the blank.

The "REGULAR" versions, however, are intended for use with fixed spool reels, and have rings in sizes suitable for use with this type of reel.

Ultimately, the HARPOON are formidable tools with a decidedly attractive price, which offer a lot of quality, sensitivity and power, fundamental requirements for Slow Pitch or Inchiku fishing, where "feeling" the contact with the jig really makes the difference.
