Simple food composed of 100% freeze-dried TUBIFEX, small aquatic worms.
Highly proteinous, it is a necessary food for all freshwater fish that require a carnivorous diet.
So-called natural feeds are composed of whole organisms that have not been subjected to the usual processing.
Supplementing the fish's usual diet with natural feed is very important:
not only is the natural hunting and predatory behavior visually and olfactoryly stimulated,
but it has also been shown that whole foods promote proper development
and functionality of internal organs, especially in young growing fish.
The freeze-drying process (freezing and subsequent dehydration in a controlled atmosphere)
to which they are subjected allows them to keep almost all of them unchanged
the nutritional properties of the food, including vitamins.
Upon subsequent rehydration with water and administration, the fish assume
therefore a complete food and almost identical to natural live food.
The use of freeze-dried natural foods is recommended especially for animals accustomed to hunting live prey,
or during the acclimatization phase when conventional feed is not accepted.
