GARMIN GSD26 MODULE
The highly innovative sonar module that ushers in a new era in the field of professional fishing.
MODULE GSD26
The GSD 26 digital sonar module is a highly innovative device that ushers in a new era in professional fishing. In fact, this module ensures unparalleled identification of the bottom and fish compared to traditional fishfinders thanks to the military-derived CHIRP technology.
The GSD26, compatible with CHIRP transducers with transmission power up to 3 kW, working on multiple frequencies at the same time, and with a variable reading cone, guarantees maximum data reading accuracy even at great depths¹, with a significant reduction in noise bottom.
Connection to the Garmin network
Thanks to its 'plug and play' connectivity, the GSD 26 module quickly integrates with the Garmin Marine Network system and allows you to share all information with the GPSMAP series while ensuring a rapid data update.
"Before interpreting the photo, I would like to make you understand the total clarity and cleanliness of the screen. As we can see, the machine is working with the low chirp, so it is performing a scan ranging from 42-65 kHz, obviously this frequency could change based on the transducer that we are going to assemble. Let's start with the two white arrows: they represent the two weights that go down to the bottom, in fact, one of them fell right into the wonderful markings of amberjacks, fish weighing about 25 kg, indicated by the red arrow. The perfect adjustment of the GPSMAP 8015 combined with the technology contained in the CHIRP GSD 26 module allows us to distinguish the fish one by one, what can I say ... Superb! "
