Lightweight and stiff C-40X long-filament carbon fiber in the body, side plates and rotor provides extra strength where it's needed most. The machined aluminum handle is screwed directly into the reel ensuring maximum safety and stability.

The 7HPB + 1RB high performance ball bearing system keeps the spool running smoothly in fresh and coastal water with the precision machine cut brass pinion gear.

The two-tone anodized machined aluminum coil is surrounded by Okuma's Cyclonic Flow Rotor system which increases airflow through the ported rotor, increasing drying time and minimizing corrosion throughout the coil.

Inside the spool is the carbon fiber multi-disc drag system with hydro-lock that keeps water out and the drag runs smoothly.

ARMOR® TORSION CONTROL (TCA ™)

The one-piece TCA ™ design was crafted using Okuma C-40X carbon fiber technology and crafted with a dual arm design. Compared to traditional single-sided designs, the TCA ™ double arm offers greater resistance to twisting and bending under heavy pressure for added strength. This not only makes the reel lighter but also extremely stiff ensuring that the internal parts remain in perfect alignment.

Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR)

Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) has been designed to create a "cyclonic" airflow, which significantly increases the air around the rotor, under and around the spool, with each turn of the handle. This thoroughly tested design allows for a much faster drying time if the reel gets wet, minimizing corrosion and extending the longevity of the reel.
