The units that carry out navigation from 300 meters away from the coast and within 6 nautical miles or in inland waters must have on board compliant life belts (ISO 12402-4), i.e. 100 N. Old vests up to 6 + are therefore accepted. 6 miles from the coast.

Life belts and buoyancy aids made in accordance with the previous technical standard, and already present on board, retain their validity. Vessels sailing beyond 6 nautical miles must have on board (vests) compliant (ISO 12402-3), 150 N.

We also remind you that exclusively manual and / or oral inflation systems are not allowed for life belts and inflatable buoyancy aids.
