YAMASHITA EGI-OH LIVE 3.0 is a squid jig

"Live" has been further improved along three important lines.

First of all, lead has been eliminated from the artificial bait,

using a lead-free alloy for the fin metal

(the same change is also found in the new "Sound").

This essential part of the egi has also been redesigned

to allow an increase in the number of lateral rejects

and vertical ones with the same path taken in recovery.

A slightly higher inertia actually allows for a greater number of jerks

with more darting movements both vertically and laterally, as we were saying.

Compared to the previous Live model, the casting distance has also been increased,

while the sinking speed remains the same as before.

Another detail that marks a difference with the previous model is the eye

which emits glow radiation at 490 Nm, a value that identifies the radiation

bright tested as the most attractive to cephalopods.

Furthermore, the fabric used to cover the lure is the one known for being able to slow down,

compared to traditional fabrics, the dispersion of accumulated heat into water

from the artificial one exposed to the sun's rays. The name Live comes from this "thermal" characteristic.
