Halco Laser Pro 190 DD is widely recognized as one of the best trolling baits available. It is particularly suitable for tuna and small billfish species.
The latest bait technology that incorporates strength, durability and fishing ability. The external body has extra safe anchoring and towing points which are integrated as an integral part of the body of the bait. The Halco bulletproof bib fastening system offers greater resistance and guarantees impeccable swimming performance at high and low speeds. Halco Laser Pro baits are precision engineered for maximum fish capture ability.
It should be trolled for pelagics at around 6/7 knots for best results, although it will swim from 3 to 11 knots. The DD version will reach depths of about 2.5 meters at these speeds. Troll 10 to 50m back. About 25 meters is normal. Troll more than one call at a time to increase your chances and emulate a school of fish.
Remember, always troll your baits at different distances from the boat. Not only does it cover more area, but it also avoids tangles when turning the boat, as the closest bait will pass under the additional bait during the tack.
The Laser Pro 190 has three dive depth options: Standard (1m), Deep Diver (2m +) and Crazy Deep XDD (7m +) and can be trolled up to 11 knots.
