Anubias Barteri Potted Plant
Slow-growing, robust and easily adaptable marsh plant
which adapts well to both emerged and submerged cultivation.
The rhizome, to prevent it from breaking or dying,
must remain outside the substrate or must be attached to logs,
rocks or aquarium decorations.
It is easy to see flowers of this plant in the aquarium.
It requires low fertilization especially
based on chelated bivalent iron and manganese to prevent the appearance
yellow spots on old leaves (chlorosis).
Thanks to its robust and leathery leaves it is not usually eaten
from phytophagous fish and is therefore very suitable for aquariums with cichlids.
This variety has brown petioles and leaves,
the leaf blades, however, may appear slightly blistered.
