The Xenopus Laevis is a completely aquatic frog with the strange peculiarity of being tongueless! The females reach 12 cm in size while the males stop at 5/6 cm. It is a rather robust frog and also very long-lived, in fact it can reach 20-30 years of life! The water of the aquarium in which this frog is to be housed must not be too deep, this to allow the frog to be able to rise towards the surface of the water to breathe, let's say that a height of water of 13 cm is sufficient. An emerged area is not necessary, while submerged hiding places are needed where the frog can take refuge. The ideal temperature is around 21-22 degrees, so you don't need heaters. It is recommended to close the aquarium with a lid to prevent the frogs from jumping out and dying of dehydration.
