Scalibor anti-parasitic collar effective against ticks, mosquitoes and sandflies for 12 months

Available for small dogs 48 cm medium dogs 65 cm Ectoparasites of dogs sensitive to deltamethrin:

prevention of tick infestations for 6 months; prevention of flea infestations for 4 months;

prevention of sandfly bites for 5 months; repellent effect on adult mosquitoes (Culex pipiens pipiens) for 6 months.

The repellent (anti-feeding) effect of SCALIBOR against sandflies also helps reduce the risk

of transmission of visceral leishmaniosis in dogs. Scalibor can therefore be considered as part of a prevention program

of Leishmania infantum infection.

To obtain complete protection against ticks, fleas, sandflies and mosquitoes, it is recommended to replace

Scalibor Protector Band after 4 months from the first application, keeping the collar constantly worn from April to October.

Since the product does not have a classic repellent action against ticks,

It is possible to observe the presence of ticks even after applying the collar.

Parasites die once exposed to the active ingredient on the dog.

Ingestion of toxic amounts leads to hyperexcitement followed by paralysis and death.

As a result, it is unlikely that ticks will be able to complete their blood meal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.

Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age. Do not use in cats.

Do not use the collar on animals with extensive skin lesions.

ADVERSE REACTIONS Local skin reactions have been reported in very rare cases.

(erythema, itching, hair loss, tingling) affecting the neck or skin,

indicative of a general or local hypersensitivity reaction.

In very rare cases, altered behavior has also been reported.

(e.g. lethargy, ataxia/uncoordinated movements) often associated with skin irritation.

In extremely rare cases, neurological symptoms such as tremors have been reported.

In these cases, remove the collar immediately.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION Use 1 collar per subject.

The collar should preferably be applied 1 week before the animals are introduced into an infested environment,

as full activity is achieved after 1 week. It is recommended to treat all dogs in the same environment.

Bathing does not affect the effectiveness of the collar. The collar can be used on puppies over 7 weeks of age.

WARNINGS FOR CORRECT ADMINISTRATION Adjust the collar around the animal's neck without tightening it.

Cut off the excess, leaving 5 cm from the clip.
