Excellent porosity sintered glass cylinders for mechanical and biological filtration in fresh and marine water aquariums. CRYSTALCIL has the double function: as a mechanical filter because it retains the coarser impurities transported by the water (leaves, residues of feed, excrement), as a biological filter because the porosity of the material offers a large surface for the settlement of colonies of aerobic bacteria that transform organic substances. The high porosity of CRYSTALCIL guarantees excellent biological filtration.
