The Chinchilla is an animal suitable for cold as it comes from the Andes mountains.
Compared to other rodents, this one lives much longer from about 15 to 20 years. They are very sociable and intelligent, usually they are active at night and during the day they sleep. Like other rodents, they too have continuous teeth growth but with continuous chewing, this problem can be limited. In the cage you must have a wheel as accessories with a diameter of about 38 cm. Chinchillas are herbivorous animals and hay-based nutrition can also be occasionally offered in dehydrated fruit.
