SYNTHETIC PUTTY SINTOFILLER 0.500LT
One-component putty based on synthetic resins, with excellent adhesion, excellent filling power, good sandability. It is suitable for use on wood, chipboard panels, metals (previously treated with a primer). Ideal for fine smoothing and for leveling rough or uneven surfaces. It can be repainted with any type of synthetic enamel for wood and metals. Used as a smoothing putty in cycles for painting single-component finish boats as well as in the wood industry and in the do-it-yourself sector to fill small holes, cracks and surface imperfections in general. To plug defects and porosities and make any surface intended for painting perfectly smooth and homogeneous.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE AND APPLICATION CYCLE
Wood. The substrates must be dry, clean and free of dust. A light sanding is always recommended to allow a better adhesion of the grout on the support. Any traces of resins, waxes and wood polishing products must be carefully removed by washing with solvent or sanding. Apply a coat of SINTOFILLER white putty with trowel where required using a thin layer trowel, taking care to exert a certain pressure to ensure good penetration of the filler into the porosity of the support. Do not apply thick layers directly; if necessary, carry out numerous applications of successive thin layers, at intervals of a few hours from each other. Allow to dry and continue with the recommended painting cycle.
Metal. Apply white SINTOFILLER Spatula Stucco on a suitable primer. Then follow the instructions as specified above for wooden surfaces.
