Two-component anti-rust and anticorrosive epoxy primer for light alloys, iron and lead, waterproofing for fiberglass.

It has great adhesion on both metals and fiberglass, and excellent protective power. It constitutes the basis for the application of ROSTAR epoxy tar, particularly suitable for parts permanently immersed in water, the BARRIER solvent-free protective coating and the EPOPLASTIC epoxy primer.

It is also possible to apply our EPOXY GROUT directly on PRIMEPOX.

PRIMEPOX must be applied by brush, roller or spray on perfectly clean surfaces of calamine and rust on iron on lead or light alloys, by oxides by sandblasting or descaling. Wait 24 hours then sand the surface before applying another product. Particular attention must be paid to the preparation of iron sheets for which sandblasting to grade SA 2.5 is certainly advisable in order to eliminate all the calamine.

In the case of application on fiberglass, careful sanding with medium grain abrasive paper (n. 150) is necessary.

After sandblasting or discing the surface must be dusted with compressed air or with dry rags, instead it should not be washed with solvents of any kind, as this can lead to a decrease in adhesion.
