MARLIN FLEXY ANTIFOULING FOR INFLATABLE BOATS

Flexible antifouling for inflatable boats, can be applied both on tubulars and on fiberglass keel. It must be applied directly, without primer.

FLEXY is a water insoluble antifouling, therefore it is also suitable for very fast dinghies.

USE

1.Wash and degrease the surface thoroughly, completely removing grease or wax stains.

2.Slightly sand the surface, using: on fiberglass abrasive paper no. 100-120; on vinyl leather and inflatable paper finer paper, n. 180-200, or abrasive felt (Scotch Brite type) to avoid possible damage to the fabric itself.

3.Do not apply any primer on the tubulars or on the gelcoat of the rigid keel

. If a cycle based on epoxy products has been applied to the fiberglass, sand with 100-120 paper, apply a coat of FIBERGLASS PRIMER and wait at least 3 hours before applying the FLEXY antifouling.

4. Then apply two coats of FLEXY antifouling on the prepared surface at least 6 hours apart.

5. Wait for the launch at least 16 hours (at 20 ° C) from the last coat.

WARNINGS

• Mix very carefully before use.

• Do not apply on light alloy boats.

• Do not apply on other types of antifouling.

• Do not use with temperatures below 0 ° C or above 38 ° C. In cold temperatures it is important

wait at least 48 hours for launching after the last coat.

• Apply at least 2 coats with a minimum consumption per coat of 9 m2 / l

• If the boat remains moored for long periods, any silt or dirt formed must not be removed with abrasive products (not even abrasive felt), but with a sponge or cloth.
